Intel Core Ultra RAM FAQ

What DDR5 speed for Intel Core Ultra (LGA1851)?

DDR5-5600 is the JEDEC baseline; DDR5-6000 to DDR5-6400 with Intel XMP 3.0 is common on Z890/B860 boards. Enable XMP in BIOS to reach box speeds.

Is AMD EXPO RAM OK on Intel?

Many DDR5 kits include both XMP and EXPO profiles. On Intel, enable XMP 3.0, not EXPO. Check your motherboard QVL for validated kits.
