Why Beelink SER7 stutters (or pages)
SER7 stutter after a RAM “upgrade” is frequently mechanical: a thick stick forces a crooked cooler plate or blocks airflow, then infinity fabric/GPU clocks wobble. Second cause is mixed kits (16+32) running flex mode with uneven channel population.
What to buy or configure
Buy a matched 2×16GB or 2×32GB DDR5-5600 unshielded kit. Do not mix brands/timings. If you need >64GB, look at UM780/MS-01 96GB paths instead of forcing unsupported densities.

Beelink SER7 brings Phoenix 7840HS performance into a compact chassis with easy DDR5 SO-DIMM upgrades. Editorial emphasis differs from SER8 slightly: stricter height clearance and avoiding flex-mode mismatch kits.
Clearance / form factor: Tight dual-SO-DIMM bay — standard unshielded low-profile only. Heatspreaders often collide with the fan bracket; Crucial/Corsair bare laptop modules are the safe default.
Tuning notes: Mirror other 780M mini-PCs: dual-channel first, then BIOS UMA 8G for games. On 32GB total, 8G UMA still leaves plenty for Windows; on lighter 16GB kits stay nearer 4–6G.
